The Robin Hill Community Support Foundation funds swim lesson instruction
in the interest of public safety, community engagement, and youth development.
The Foundation also supports the efforts of the Robin Hill Neighborhood Association.

The Robin Hill Community Support Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charity.
The foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

The Robin Hill Community Support Foundation provides free swim lessons at Robin Hill Pool.
Water safety is important. Enrollment for swim lessons is open to all community members.
Equipping children with basic and advanced aquatic skills helps them remain safe in the water --
whether at the neighborhood swimming pool, public swimming pools, school pools, or in area lakes and beaches.


Here's what parents of children who have participated in the free swim lesson program have to say:

"We loved swim lessons at our neighborhood pool! We are very fortunate to have Robin Hill pool a block down the street from us,
and we swam every day this summer -- but it wasn't until swim lessons my daughter proved she could go in the deep end.
Before swim lessons, she swam on the shallow side easily but we never tried the deep side.

On the first day of her lessons, she was jumping off the diving board and swimming back on her own. I couldn't believe it!
We never would have tried if it hadn't been for her lessons!
We have gone to other swim lessons around the city and my daughter learned more in one week of lessons at Robin Hill
than weeks of lessons somewhere else. It is extremely important for our children to learn to swim.

Greg and I teach in OPS school district where a middle school student recently drowned at the school pool.
Providing free swim lessons extends services to all children -- even those who may not be able to afford it.

When we first joined, they were clingy and afraid. They enjoyed the water, but wouldn't let go.
After our swim lessons, they were significantly more independent in the water and had a ton more fun!!
Both were able to jump in and swim to me or my husband. Their confidence just skyrocketed!

I am so impressed with the results of these swim lessons.
I think that it very important that free community swim lessons are made available. They do SO MUCH GOOD!!
